Dr. Laundy is a licensed psychologist and family therapist who has treated children, adolescents, adults and families who experience chronic illness for over forty years. In her private practice she uses a systemic and medical family therapy approach to help people manage the stress of chronic illness. As a strong believer in “medical and educational home”, she collaborates with medical and educational teams when appropriate to build, support and maintain the health of her patients. She consults regularly with schools, agencies and other groups serving children and families.
Dr. Laundy is an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor. She is Past President of the Connecticut Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 43 in Family Psychology, and the Connecticut Psychological Association. She is a frequent speaker at educational, medical and mental health conferences.
